


Memorial Services celebrating the life of Cynthia “Cindy” Alice Peura, 63, of Longville, formerly of Buffalo, will be at 11 AM on Friday, August 15, 2014 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home Chapel. Chaplain James Neppl will officiate and burial will take place at Camp Ripley at a later date. Cindy passed away Saturday afternoon with her family at her side. There will be a visitation from 5-8 PM on Thursday, August 14, 2014 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud and again after 10 AM until the time of service on Friday. Arrangements are being made with Miller-Carlin Funeral Home, St. Cloud.Cindy was born on Feb. 28, 1951 to Carles and Marjorie (Bjorndahl) Hoiland in Montevideo. She grew up with her five siblings and graduated from Willow River High School. Cindy married Jack Lee Peura on August 21, 1971 in Finlayson, MN and together they raised three children Brian, Marie, and Chad. She held numerous manufacturing jobs throughout her lifetime. Cindy loved nature, wildlife, and being outdoors, especially while fishing and hunting. She enjoyed traveling and liked to cook; there was always enough for everyone who visited. Above all, Cindy loved to spend time with her entire family together and getting to see her grandchildren.Cindy is survived by her husband Jack; children Brian Peura, Monticello; Marie (Mike) Emerson, St. Augusta; Chad (Julie) Peura, Buffalo; siblings Larry (Lu) Hoiland, Willow River; Alfred (Sandy) Hoiland, Bruno; Steve (Diane) Hoiland, Howard Lake; Sherry (Howard) Nebola, Willow River; Linda (Mitch) Rock, Willow River; ten grandchildren; one great grandchild; and many other family and friends.She is preceded in death by her parents Carles and Marjorie.
