Emily Gohman

Age: 80 September 14, 1938 – November 2, 2018 The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Emily Ann Gohman, age 80, of St. Cloud, will be at 10:00 AM, Friday, November 16th, 2018 at St. Mary of Christian Help Church in St. August,MN.  Emily passed away peacefully into the arms of her Savior on the afternoon of November 2 nd following a brave battle with cancer. There will be a visitation from 9:00 AM until the time of service.  Arrangements are being made by Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes. Emily Ann Trobec was born September 14, 1938. She was a graduate of Holdingford High School. Emily worked as a secretary at Zapp Bank in St. Cloud. She married Lewis Gohman and together they resided in St. Cloud and wintered in Rancho Mirage, CA. Emily was a member of the St. Cloud Country Club and the Sunrise Country Club, Rancho Mirage, CA. She enjoyed golf, travel, and spending time with friends. Emily is survived by her dear friend Jerry Schmitz, Rancho Mirage, CA, her brother Tom (Nettie) Trobec, St. Stephen; Nieces, Pamela (Sherwin) Linton, Coon Rapids; MN, Brittany (Buddy) Allyn-Linton, Mesa, AZ; Peggy (Chuck) Farthing, Lavergne; TN, Penny (Jim) Satre, West Linn, OR; and Great Nieces Lydia Farthing, Abbie Satre, and Great Nephew, Jack Satre. Emily is preceded in death by her husband Lewis Gohman, parents Tony and Frances Trobec and sister Betty Jeanne Trobec. The family wishes to thank the staff of the St. Cloud Hospital for their loving care. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Coborn Cancer Center.
