The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Adeline “Dickie” B. Voth, age 99, of St. Cloud will be at 11:00 AM on Saturday, October 30, at Church of the Holy Spirit in St. Cloud. Dickie passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 9, 2021, at the St. Cloud Hospital. Her two children and her youngest sister were present to help her passing. Burial will be in spring at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery, outside of Little Falls. There will be a visitation from 4-7:00 PM Friday, October 29 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud and again at 10:00 AM , Saturday at Church of the Holy Spirit.  Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home.

Adeline was born on March 16, 1922 in Minneapolis to Melvin and Genevive (Willerding) Dickinson. Her life was very active, at age 19, she was Miss Saint Cloud.  After Dickie married her husband John Voth, he went into the military and she went in the NAVY WAVES a year later. After the military, they bought the Saint Cloud Hobby Shop and owned it until 1969. Dickie opened an art shop since she said she missed people. She was also a special education teacher for 15 years. Dickie loved doing artwork and did craft shows with her daughter. In 1995, she founded a group made up of military women veterans called Women In The Military – Central MN Unit. Dickie was very active in the American Legion 428, METTROVETS, St. Cloud Stand Down, Women Veterans of MN and the Memorial Day for Veterans “Flanders Field” reading. She was an active member of Church of the Holy Spirit  as a Lector and Eucharistic Minister.

Dickie is survived by her daughter Diane; son John; grandchildren Brittany and Michael (Katie); three great grandchildren and sisters Imelda and Mardelle.

She is preceded in death by her husband John, parents Melvin and Genevive Dickinson, brothers Richard, Edward, Joseph, Leander, Eugene, Andrew and Francis, sisters Lorraine, Catherine, Marie and Julieanne.
