Adeline (Skaj) Jarnot, age 85, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 29, 2016 at the Good Shepherd Nursing Home in Sauk Rapids. Funeral services will be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in St. Wendel. Fr. Eugene Doyle will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery. There will be a visitation from 4:00-8:00 PM on Friday, July 1, 2016 and again after 9:00 AM at the church. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 PM Friday evening. Arrangements are being made with Miller-Carlin Funeral Home, Holdingford.
Adeline Caroline Jarnot was born August 10, 1930 in Brockway Township to Michael and Anna (Marsolek) Skaj. She married Damis Jarnot on September 12, 1951 in St. Wendel and farmed in St. Wendel until 1984. Adeline was a lifelong resident of St. Wendel where she was a member of St. Columbkille Parish and Christian Mothers until March of 2012 when she moved to Good Shepherd Nursing Home.
Adeline’s survivors include her daughter Carol Ann (Russell) Kilgard, Foley, son Richard (Rose Wegscheid) Jarnot, St. Joseph, son-in-law Anthony Butler, Sahuarita, AZ, five grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
She was proceeded in death by her parents, husband Damis on Oct. 12, 1984, daughter Mary Lee Butler on Dec. 19, 2010, and siblings Monica Vouk, Aloys Skaj, and Isabelle Feld.

Visitation Details
Visitation will be from 4:00-8:00 PM on Friday, July 1, 2016 and again after 9:00 AM at St. Columbkille Catholic Church. Parish prayers will be at 7:30 PM Friday evening.
Service Details
Mass of Christian Burialwill be at 10:00 AM on Saturday, July 2, 2016 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in St. Wendel. Fr. Eugene Doyle will officiate and burial will follow in the parish cemetery.
