Agnes “Tootsie” Schulstad

Age: 95 April 06, 1914 – February 08, 2010 AGNES “TOOTSIE” SCHULSTADApril 6, 1914 – February 8, 2010Funeral services, celebrating the life of Agnes Schulstad, age 95 of Sauk Rapids, will be 11:00 AM Friday, February 12, at Eksjo Lutheran Church in Lake Park, MN.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.  Agnes died Monday at the St. Cloud Hospital.  There will be a visitation time from 4-8:00 PM Thursday evening at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud and again after 10:00 AM Friday at the church in Lake Park.  Lutheran prayers will be 7:00 PM Thursday evening at the funeral home in St. Cloud.   Agnes was born April 6, 1914 in Lake Park to John and Emma (Lindstrom) Olson.  She grew up in Lake Park and married Kenneth Schulstad in Las Vegas, NV on August 10, 1943.  Agnes worked as a Registered Nurse at St. John’s Hospital in Fargo and then as a school nurse.  After her children were born, Agnes was a homemaker.  Agnes and Ken moved to St. Cloud in 1971.  Agnes moved to Sauk Rapids in 1993.  She enjoyed crocheting, rosemaling, baking, game shows and the Minnesota Vikings.  She was a member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church in St. Cloud.Agnes is survived by her children; Kathleen (Delbert) Brobst, St. Cloud; James (Kathryn) Schulstad, Austin, MN; Richard Schulstad, Waite Park; and Craig (Lois) Schulstad, Chanhassen, MN.  Agnes is also survived by her brother, Paul (Lyla) Olson, Lake Park; six grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.   She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Kenneth on April 13, 1984 and her brother, John Olson.Memorials are preferred to the donor’s choice.
