Yamry, age 86 of Opole, will be 11:00 AM Saturday, April 24 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Alphonse passed away on Tuesday, April 20 at his home in Opole.  Friends may call from 4-9:00 PM Friday and again after 10:00 AM Saturday at the church in Opole.  Parish prayers will be at 7:00 PM Friday at the church.  Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Holdingford.Al was born on March 15, 1924 in Avon to Frank and Christine (Gallus) Yamry.  He grew up in the Avon area.  He married Bernice Bieniek on August 19, 1947 in Opole.  They farmed and lived in Opole their married life.  Al worked at Polar and then worked as a Steeple Jack for Bielejeski Steeple Jacking until he began farming full time at age 50.  He is a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole.Al is survived by his wife, Bernice, Opole; his children; Alphonse (Mary Lou) Yamry, Jr, Roseau; Jane (Vern) Lieser, Anoka; Fritz (Diane) Yamry, Opole; Catherine (Bill) Becker, Avon; Mary Carmel (Marty) Andreasen, Walker; Christine (Bill) VanHoorik, St. Micheal; Julie (John Wellman) Smoley, Holdingford; Victor (Carolyn) Yamry, Hugo; Gerard (Lisa) Yamry, St. Joseph; Sugar (Ken) Opatz, Opole; Joe (Schonda) Honolulu, HI; and Bonnie (Keven) Sunderman, St. Rosa.  Al is also survived by his sister, Alice LeClair, White Bear Lake; 33 grandchildren and 32 great-grandchildren.Al is preceded in death by his parents, his sons, Mike, Marvin and John Yamry and 2 special angels, grandson, Kevin and son-in-law, Ricky Smoley; and eleven brothers and sisters.Memorials are preferred.
