Age: 89 April 28, 1928 – August 20, 2017 The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Anna B. Boeckers, age 89 of Albany, will be 1:00 PM, Friday, August 25th at the Church of St. Anthony in St. Anthony.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Anna died Sunday at Arlington Place in St. Joseph with her family by her side.  There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Thursday and again after 12:00 Noon Friday at the church in St. Anthony.  St. Anthony parish prayers will be at 4:00 PM Thursday at the church.  St. Anthony Christian Mothers will pray at 12:30 PM, Friday at the church.  Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home. Anna was born April 28, 1928 in Albany Township to Martin and Anna (Einyk) Heinen.  She lived all her life in the area.  She married Alois Boeckers on October 18, 1949 in the Church of St. Anthony.  She and Alois farmed together and she worked for the Green Thumb Program.  She also worked as a school Custodian for the Avon schools for 13 years. She was also, an avid twins fan.  She was a member of the Church of St. Anthony, the St. Anthony Christian Mothers and the Poor Souls Society.   Anna is survived by her children, Ralph (Janet) Boeckers, St. Joseph; Diane (David) Yell, Brooklyn Park; Dennis (Mary Ellen) Boeckers, Sauk Centre; Roger (Nancy) Boeckers, Forest Lake; Sharon (Joseph) Knepprath, Maple Grove; Ervin (Shirley) Boeckers, Adell, WI; Janice (Richard) Collins, Aitkin; Thomas (Elizabeth) Boeckers, Arlington, TX; Carol (Dennis) Miller, Sun Prairie, WI; Mark (Judy) Boeckers, Buffalo, 24 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.  She is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Dolores (Robert) Weyer, Sauk Rapids; Mildred (Richard) Nienaber, Freeport; David (Margaret) Heinen, Waite Park; Gerald (Ione) Heinen, Albany, Rosemary (Thomas) Nienaber, Burtrum; and Vernon (Karen) Heinen, Albany. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Alois, grandson, Chad Boeckers; and her brothers and sisters, Margaret Chock, Dorothy Bloch, Norbert Heinen, and Arnold Heinen. Our family would like to express our thanks to all the staff at Arlington Place and to Jodi at CHI Hospice for all of their care.
