Age: 93 April 05, 1917 – October 16, 2010 The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Anthony “Tony” Poepping, age 93 of Melrose, will be 11:00 AM Tuesday, October 19th at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.    There will be a visitation from 2:00 – 3:00 PM Monday at the Pine Villa Chapel in Melrose and at Immaculate Conception Catholic church in New Munich from 4:00 – 8:00 PM Monday and after 10:00 AM Tuesday,.  Immaculate Conception parish prayers will be at 5:00 PM followed by The Catholic Order of Foresters and the St. Joseph’s Society Rosary at 7:30 PM Monday at the church in New Munich.Tony is survived by his wife, Rose, Melrose; his daughters; Irene (Darrell) Eiden, Coon Rapids; Marlene “Moe” Otte, Sauk Centre; Bernice (Allen) Nathe, Spring Hill and Toni (John) Koopmeiners, CA.  He is also survived by his brother, Melvin (Erma) Poepping, New Munich,Tony is preceded in death by his parents and his brothers and sisters; Theodore Poepping, Alvina Mayers, Sylvester Poepping, and Juletta Ostendorf-Piekarski, and son-in-law, Elmer Otte.
