Age: 59 November 30, 1952 – October 09, 2012 The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Charles “Charlie” Zeimetz, age 59, of Avon, will be 11:00 AM, Monday, October 15th, at St. Benedict’s Catholic Church in Avon.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Charlie passed away Tuesday at the St. Cloud Hospital.  There will be a visitation from 4:00-8:00 PM Sunday, October 14th and again after 10:00 AM Monday at the church in Avon. Parish Prayers will take place at 4:15PM on Sunday. Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Albany.Charlie (Charles) Zeimetz was born November 30, 1952 to Mike and Marie (Herwers) Zeimetz in St. Cloud. He served his country 2 years in the Marine Corps and 2 years in the Army. He spent his later years working at the Avon/Albany rest area and farming on his hobby farm. He lived life his way; there was the right way, wrong way and Charlie’s way. He may have been rough around the edges but once you got past it he was sarcastically funny, loved his family and always made sure no one was hungry and thirsty when visiting.He leaves behind his children Tracey Zeimetz, Eureka CA; Karla (Scott) VanWienen, Elmdale; Kevin (Beth) Kunstleben, Brainerd; Marisa Zeimetz, St. Stephen; Karl (Stephanie) Zeimetz, Avon; and Merry Zeimetz, St. Cloud; along with 12 grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his wife Carol and his mother and father.
