Age: 68 August 08, 1941 – January 23, 2010 CLAUDE F. SKROCH August 8, 1941 – January 23, 1010 The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Claude F. Skroch, age 68, of St. Joseph, will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, January 27 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in St. Wendel.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Claude died Saturday at his home surrounded by his loving family after a battle with cancer.  There will be a visitation from 4-9:00 PM Tuesday and again after 10:00 AM Wednesday at the church in St. Wendel.  St. Columbkille parish prayers will be at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the church.  Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Holdingford. Claude was born August 8, 1941 in St. Cloud to Edmund and Catherine (Kostreba) Skroch.  He married Darlene Pyka on September 29, 1964 in Opole.  Claude worked at Landy Packing from 1962 until 1968 and then he farmed his own farm near St. Wendel.  He loved to make cookies with his grandchildren and he enjoyed gardening and canning.  He was a member of St. Columbkille Catholic Church Claude is survived by his wife, Darlene Skroch, St. Joseph; his children; Arlys (Frank) Sowada, Royalton; David (Patty) Skroch, Rice; Janice (Curt) Winter, Royalton; Jodi (Elvin) Sowada, Avon; Debbie (Galen Wilczek) Stanoch, Bowlus; Donna (Ray) Gylsen, Glenwood; Mary (Dave) Lent, Glenwood; Carol (Dan Lent) Lent; Glenwood; Judy (Rory) Seurer, Royalton and Mark Puchalla, St. Joseph.  He is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Clem (Janie) Skroch, Rice; Emily Rudnicki, Avon; Melvin (Phyllis) Skroch, Rice; Delmer (Shirley) Skroch, Holdingford; Sharon (Dennis) Yurczyk, St. Joseph;  his sister-in-law, Cryilla Skroch, Holdingford and 24 grandchildren. Claude is preceded in death by his parents, 4 grandchildren, brother, Clarence Skroch, brother-in-law, Stanley Rudnicki and son-in-law, Neil Stanoch.
