Colleen A. Dresow

Age: 73 June 30, 1939 – February 22, 2013 Funeral Services celebrating the life of Colleen Ann Dresow, age 73 of St. Cloud will be 11AM Tuesday, February 26th, 2013 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Chapel in St. Cloud.  There will be a visitation prior to the service from 10-11AM at and a luncheon to follow at the funeral home.  Burial will take place at a later date at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery.  Colleen died peacefully in her home surrounded by her family after a long and hard fought battle with cancer.   Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home of St. Cloud.Colleen was born on June 30th 1939 in St. Paul to Darrell and Salome “Sally” (Fussy) Braiedy.  She married Lloyd Dresow on October 10th 1959 at St. Johns Cantius Catholic Church.  She lived her entire life in St. Cloud where she not only raised her four children, but also held jobs at local companies such as Northwestern Bell, J.C. Penney, Nash Finch, and Fingerhut before retiring in 1998.  She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.She is survived by her loving husband Lloyd Dresow, St. Cloud; her children Neil Dresow; Steven Dresow; Craig (Laurie) Dresow, Eagan; Karen Emerson, Sioux Falls, SD; her two grandchildren Nicholas Emerson and Paige Dresow; her mother Sally Braiedy, St. Cloud; and her siblings Marvil (John) Beauchamp, St. Cloud; William (Cheryl) Braiedy, Princeton; Diane Landgraf, Mesa, AZ; Sharon Braiedy, St. Cloud; and Kathleen (Dean) Spike, Annandale.She is preceded in death by her father Darrell Braiedy.In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to St. Cloud Hospital Hospice.
