Thomas, age 69 of Avon.  David died Thursday at HCMC, Mpls.  Interment will be private.  Friends may call 1 hour prior to services Thursday at the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home, Albany.David was born in St. Cloud to Peter and Dorothy (Schaefer) Thomas.  He grew up and resided in St. Cloud before moving to his lake home in 1992.  David married Lila Thomes on November 21, 1981 in St. Cloud.  He was a salesman for Kraft Foods, Inc. for 30 years. David loved fishing and spending time on the lake with his family. David is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Lila, Avon; children, Jay (Sue), Sauk Rapids; John (Dianne), Phoenix, AZ; Eileen Thomas (Bret), Coon Rapids; Traci Heitland (Ed), Richmond; Adam (Jeannie), Del Mar, CA; Eric (Laura), Temecula, CA; their mother, Nancy Thomas, Jackie (Tim) Huver, Sartell; Jill Olk (Ken), St. Joseph; Jason Olk (Joan), Maple Grove; 15 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and siblings, Kay (Tom) Faust, Chanhassen; Peter (Sigi), Avon; Pat (Gary) DeGrave, Corpus Christi, TX; Tim (Mary), St. Cloud; Chris (Ginny), Sauk Centre; and Brian (Rhonda), Rockville.He was preceded in death by his parents and siblings, Father James Thomas and Kerry Thomas.Memorials preferred to the American Lung Association.
