Delphine L. Palmersheim

Age: 76 January 25, 1935 – August 31, 2011 Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Delphine Leona Palmersheim, age 76 of St. Stephen  will be 10 AM, Saturday, September 3, 2011 at St. Stephen Catholic Church in St. Stephen.  Father Bob Harren will officiate, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the service.  Delphine died in the St. Cloud Hospital Wednesday evening.  Friends may call from 4-9 PM Friday, September 2, 2011 at the St. Stephen Parish Center and again from 9 until the time of the service Saturday.  Parish prayers will take place at 7PM followed by Christian Mothers and St. Stephen American Legion Auxiliary praying the rosary at 7:30 PM on Friday at the Parish Center.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Brenny Funeral Home of Albany.Delphine was born January 25, 1935 in St. Cloud to Roy and Monica (Skaj) Vouk.  She grew up and was raised in the St. Stephen area where she has lived her entire life.  She married Romuald Joseph Palmersheim on October 24, 1956 in St. Stephen.  She was not only a loving mother and homemaker, but also worked at the Waite Park Nursing Home.  She was a member of the St. Stephen Catholic Church, the St. Stephen Christian Mothers, and the St. Stephen American Legion Auxiliary.Delphine is survived by her husband Romuald Palmersheim, St. Stephen; her children Diane Palmersheim, Minnetonka; Marie Palmersheim, Waite Park; Joseph Palmersheim, St. Stephen; Daniel (Judy) Palmersheim, St. Stephen; Janet (William) Van Koevering, Sartell; her brother Donald (Donna) Vouk, St. Stephen; and her 6 grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her mother and father, and her son Kenneth.
