Duane J. Fautsch

Age: 54 March 14, 1957 – February 11, 2012 Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Duane John Fautsch, age 54 of Opole will be 11 AM, Wednesday, February 15, 2012 at Our Lady of Mt Carmel Catholic Church in Opole.  Father Mark Stang will officiate, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the service.  Duane died suddenly in his home Saturday evening.  There will be a visitation from 4-8 PM, Tuesday, February 14, 2012 and again from 10 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Opole.  Parish prayer will take place at 6PM Tuesday at the church.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Holdingford.Duane was born March 14, 1957 in St. Cloud to Hubert and Florence (Blazinski) Fautsch.  He lived his entire life in the Opole area.  He currently worked as a truck driver for ABF Freight.  Duane had a great love of the outdoors where he enjoyed his time hunting and fishing.  In his free time, he also enjoyed his trips to the casinos.  Duane loved spending time with his family, most of all his children and grandchildren.  He was a member of Teamsters Local #120, the Fraternal Order of Eagles-Aerie #622, and Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Opole.Duane is survived by his mother Florence Fautsch, his children Melissa Fautsch, Sioux Falls; Michael (Kristen Decker) Fautsch, Opole; his siblings Annette (Larry) Dukowitz, St. Cloud; Kathy (Wayne) Kostreba, St. Stephen; David (Marie) Fautsch, Opole; his grandchildren Isaiah, Kaylie, Cole, James, Mia, his nieces and nephews, and his special friend Sue Wruck.He is preceded in death by his father Hubert Fautsch, and his grandparents John and Agnes Fautsch, and Dominic and Pauline Blazinski.
