METTENBURGSeptember 29, 1966 – May 8, 2010The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Eileen Mettenburg, age 47 of St. Cloud, will be 10:30 AM Thursday, May 13, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church in St. Cloud.  Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery.  Eileen died on Saturday, May 8 at the St. Cloud Hospital from complications of cancer.  Friends may gather from 4-8:00 PM Wednesday evening at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud and after 9:30 AM Thursday at the church.  Holy Spirit parish prayers will be at 6:00 PM Wednesday at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud.Eileen was born September 29, 1962 in St. Cloud to LeRoy and Rita (Suek) Mettenburg.  She graduated from Technical High School and the St. Cloud Vocational School.  She worked at Merrill Printing for over 24 years, most recently as a copy editor.  She is a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.Eileen is survived by her mother, Rita Mettenburg, St. Cloud; her brothers and sisters, Gordon Mettenburg, St. Cloud; Doris Mettenburg, St. Cloud; Gerald (Jane) Mettenburg, Fairfax, VA; Diane (Patrick) Wells, Inver Grove Heights; and Karl Mettenburg, Apple Valley.  Eileen is also survived by her nieces and nephew, Melissa and Connor Wells and Jennifer, Audrey and Sara Harrison.She is preceded in death by her father and an infant sister, Barbara Mettenburg.Memorials are preferred to the American Cancer Society.
