Ervin Platz

Age: 92 April 4, 1926 – June 9, 2018 Services celebrating the life of Ervin Platz, age 92 of St. Cloud, formerly of Holdingford, will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, June 14, at the Church of All Saints, St. Hedwigs in Holdingford. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Ervin died at his home on Saturday. There will be a visitation Thursday, from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the church in Holdingford. Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes. Ervin was born April 4, 1926 in Albany to Joseph and Mary (Tomsche) Platz. He grew up and spent the majority of his life on the family farm near Holdingford. Recently, he moved into Carefree Living in St. Cloud. He was a member of the Church of All Saints, St. Hedwigs. Ervin is survived by his brothers and sisters; George (Doreen) Platz, Holdingford; Donald (Kathy) Platz, St. Cloud; Dorothy Post, St. Cloud and Evelyn Kolodjeski, Avon. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, his brothers and sisters, Arnold Platz, Jeanette Tinglov, Margaret Eiynk, Joe Platz and Lawrence and Florence Platz.
