Florence T. Voss

Age: 79 September 23, 1930 – May 18, 2010 Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Florence T. Voss, age 79, of St Francis will be Friday, May 21 at 11:00 AM at St Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in St Francis.  Burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the service.  Florence died peacefully at the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home Tuesday morning surrounded by her family.  Friends may call Thursday, May 20 from 4-8 PM at the Miller-Carlin Brenny Funeral Home in Albany and again at 10:00 AM on Friday at the church. Christain Mothers and St Francis Catholic Aid will pray at 7:00, and parish prayers will be at 7:30 on Thursday at the funeral home.   Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Brenny Funeral Home in Albany.Florence was born September 23, 1930 in St Paul Minnesota to Agnes (Gelking) and John Wagner Sr.  She lived in St Paul until marrying Arnold Voss on May 18, 1957 in St Francis.  The couple moved to St Cloud where they lived until moving to the family farm in 1971.  They retired to St Francis in the fall of 1994.  Florence was a loving wife, mother, and home-maker.  She was a member of the St Francis Church Choir, and a life member of the Christian Mothers.Florence is survived by her husband Arnold Voss,  her children Craig (Rosanne) Voss, Albany; David Voss, Holdingford; and Steven (Patricia) Voss, Avon, and her grandchildren Bethany, Kristan, Matthew, Jacob, Ryan, Megan, Cory, and Justin Voss.  She is also survived by her brothers and sister Sylvester (Sonny) Wagner, St Paul; John Wagner Jr., Maplewood; and Dolly Fincel, St. Paul.Florence is preceded by her infant son Duane Voss, and infant brother Joseph Wagner.Memorials are preferred in lieu of flowers.
