Franklin “Dee” Harrison

Age: 68 June 25, 1943 – November 23, 2011 Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Franklin Harrison, age 68 of St. Martin will be 11AM, Monday, November 28, 2011 at St. Martin Catholic Church in St. Martin.  Father Stephen Beauclair, O.S.B. will officiate, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the service.  Franklin died at the St. Cloud Hospital Wednesday night surrounded by his family.  There will be a visitation prior to the service from 10AM until 11AM Monday morning at the church.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Brenny Funeral Home in Albany.Franklin “Dee” was born June 25, 1943 in Jackson County Kentucky to Roy and Lizzie (Powell) Harrison.  He grew up and lived most of his life in Hamilton Ohio.  Dee married Penny Hoskins on October 6, 1962 in Hamilton Ohio.  The couple moved to St. Martin in 1999.  Dee worked his life as a Millwright for Champion Papers until retiring in 1996.  He was a member of the Paynesville Legion, the Knights of Columbus, and the St. Martin Catholic Church.He is survived by his mother Lizzie Harrison, Hamilton OH; his children Damon (Karen) Harrison, St. Martin; Dain (Anne-Marie) Harrison, Denver, CO; Jana (Dennis) Else, Eddy, TX; John (Regina) Harrison, Hamilton, OH; his siblings Frances Stockman, Hamilton, OH; James Harrison, Missouri; Elby (Beverly) Harrison, Fairfield, OH; Gaylon Harrison, Hamilton, OH; William (Sherry) Harrison, Greensboro, SC; Donna Sue (A.J.) Allen, Hamilton, OH; June (Eddie) McQueen, Hamilton, OH; his 14 grandchildren, 4 great-grandchildren, and his special friend Deb Jones.He is preceded in death by his father Roy Harrison, his wife Penny Harrison who passed away in 2005, and his grandson Devin Harrison.
