Age: 87 February 27, 1925 – June 10, 2012 Memorial service celebrating the life of Harvey Robert Johnson, age 87 of St. Cloud, will be 12:30pm Friday July 13, 2012 at Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Saint Cloud. Reverend Randy Johnson will officiate and burial will take place at Minnesota State Veteran Cemetery in Little Falls. Harvey passed away June 10th at St. Benedict’s Senior Community in Saint Cloud, MN. There will be a visitation from 12:00pm until the time of service at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in Saint Cloud. Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home of Saint Cloud.Harvey was born February 27, 1925 in Superior, Wisconsin to Harry and Esther (Benson) Johnson.  Harvey has lived in Superior, WI, Cromwell, MN, Duluth, MN, Esko, MN, Sebeka, MN and most recently Saint Cloud, MN. Harvey had served in the Army until 1946. Harvey had a great passion for working with wood.Harvey is survived by wife Eleanor, St. Cloud; children Elaine (Dennis) Carlson, Sebeka, MN; Ronald Johnson (Leona), Cloquet, MN; Debra (David) Brinkman, St. Cloud, MN; Thomas Johnson (Michele), Hermantown, MN; and Cynthia (Michael) Oja, Watertown, SD; sisters Edna Samuelson and Doris Radon, 9 Grandchildren and 11 Great-Grandchildren.He is preceded in death by his parents, Harry Johnson and Esther Johnson Brandt; step father, Gustaf Brandt; brothers, Harry Johnson, William Brandt, Donald Brandt; sisters, Dorothy Hanson; Bernice Orlowski; Betty Anderson and grandson, Christopher Oja.
