Isabella Louise Gohman

Age: 97 March 05, 1915 – April 03, 2012 The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Isabella L. Gohman, age 97, of St. Cloud, will be 11:00 AM Monday, April 9th, 2012 at Holy Spirit Church in St. Cloud.  Isabella died Tuesday at Sterling Park Health Care Center, Waite Park.  Burial will be in Assumption Cemetery in St. Cloud following the funeral.  There will be a visitation from 10:00 AM until the time of the service on Monday at the church.  Arrangements by Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud.Isabella was born on March 5, 1915 to Barnerd and Hilda (Schwartz) Fandel.  She grew up in St. Cloud and graduated from Technical High School.  Isabella married Peter Gohman on May 2, 1933 in Jacobs Prairie and together they raised five children.  She spent her time as a homemaker and was involved with the Daughters of Isabelle.  She was a member of Holy Spirit Church in St. Cloud.Isabella is survived by her children: Patricia “Pat” (Joseph) Klocker, Waite Park; Carol Gohman, St. Cloud; Peter (Donna) Gohman, Alexandria; LaVonne (Michael) Denzer, Sartell; sister, Marie Golembeck, St. Cloud; as well as 10 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and 10 great-great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Peter, in 1978; daughter, Mary Lou Pappenfus; grandson, Mark Klocker; sister, LaVerne Gohman; and brothers: Donald Fandel, Edmund Fandel, and Sylvester Fandel.The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff of Sterling Park Health Care Center, especially Cat, Sarah E., Candy, and Noreen.  They would also like to thank everyone at Heartland Hospice.  God bless them all.
