Age: 56 March 09, 1955 – July 16, 2011 Joseph “Dean”  HughesMarch 9, 1955 – July 16, 2011A gathering of friends and relatives to celebrate the life of Joseph “Dean” Hughes, age 56 of St. Cloud, will be 2:00 PM, Friday, July 22 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home Chapel.    Friends may gather after 1:00 PM Friday at the Funeral Home.    Dean died at his cabin on Women Lake.  Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud.Dean was born March 9, 1955 at the McDill Air Force Base in Florida, to Harson B and Loise (Whittlesey) Hughes.     His father was in the U.S. Air Force so Dean lived in several places while growing up, but he always considered Texas his home base.  He moved to St. Cloud in 1988 with Patricia Nold.  The two were married on June 18, 1989 in Benton County.  Dean graduated from St. Cloud State University and he owned Dean’s Painting.Dean is survived by his wife, Patricia and his daughters, Natalie and Jennifer Hughes, St. Cloud.  He is also survived by his sister and brothers, DeeEsta (Don) Decker, Wichita Falls, TX; Harson Bryan (Liz) Hughes, Fargo, ND and Cary Lynn (Joycelyn) Hughes, Chanhassen, MN.
