Age: 93 December 27, 1916 – December 11, 2010 Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Julietta C. VanHeel will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 15, 2010 at the Miller-Carlin Brenny Funeral Chapel in Holdingford.  Father Mark Stang will officiate, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the service.  Julietta died peacefully Saturday at Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany.  Friends may call from 10 AM until the time of the service on Wednesday.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Brenny Funeral Home in Holdingford.Julietta was born on December 27, 1916 in St. Francis to Anton and Mary (Arnzen) VanHeel.  She married Clarence Vassar on November 18, 1959 at St Anthony’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud.  She was a lifetime resident of the Stearns county area.  Julietta was a cook in Holdingford at the Rainbow Café.  She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Holdingford.Julietta is survived by her brother and sisters, Ed VanHeel, Albany; Rita Ritter, Albany; and Bertha (Leo) Lucken, Richmond, and many nieces and nephews.She is preceded in death by her mother and father, Mary and Anton VanHeel, her ex-husband Clarence, and her brother and sisters Walburga Barhorst Ebnet, Rose Douvier, Hilda Forster, Marie Kleve, and Alphonse VanHeel.
