Julitta Austing

Age: 88 June 08, 1922 – September 26, 2010 The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Julitta M. Austing, age 88 of Albany, will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 29 at St. Rosa Lima Catholic Church in St. Rose.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Julitta died Sunday at the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home in Albany.  There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Tuesday at the Miller-Carlin Brenny Funeral Home in Albany, and again after 10:00 AM Wednesday at the church in St. Rose. St Rosa Lima parish prayers will be at 5:00 PM followed by the Christian Mothers at 7:00 PM Tuesday at the funeral home in Albany.Julitta was born June 8, 1922 in St. Rose Township to Gerhard and Katherine (Hoppe) Stoermann.  She married Lawrence Austing on September 23, 1941 in St. Rose.  Julitta farmed with Lawrence until he died in 1973.  Julitta worked as a cook at the Mother of Mercy Nursing Home for a few years.  Julitta was also enjoyed crocheting. She was a member of the St. Rosa Lima Catholic Church, the St. Rosa Christian Mothers and Catholic Aide.Julitta is survived by her daughter, Antoinette (Stephen) Breth, Albany; her brothers and sisters; Boniface (Delphine) Stoermann, Holdingford, Robert Stoermann, Holdingford; John Stoermann, St. Rose; Rose Pundsack, Melrose and Irene Pundsack, St. Cloud; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Lawrence in 1973, her brothers, Bernard Stoermann and Linus Stoermann and her sister, Rogaria Austing.
