June M. Bruner

Age: 78 January 19, 1932 – November 01, 2010 Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of June M. Bruner, age 78 of St. Cloud will be Friday, November 5, 2010 at 10:30 AM at St. John’s Abbey, Collegeville.  Burial will take place at Calvary Cemetery following the service and reception.  June peacefully died Monday afternoon surrounded by family at the St. Cloud Hospital.  Friends may call from 8:30 AM until the time of the service on Friday at St. John’s Abbey.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud.June was born January 19, 1932 in St. Cloud to John and Adelaide (Torker) Knettel.  She lived in St. Cloud nearly her entire life.  June dedicated her life to her children.  She had a passion for organic gardening, bicycle riding, music, and art.   June was a member of St. Augustine’s Catholic Church in St. Cloud.June is survived by her children, Robert (Deb) Bruner Jr., Holdingford; Susan Reinke, Sartell; Michelle (Wayne) Johnson, Sauk Rapids; Brian (Elise) Bruner, Minnetonka; her brothers and sister, Kenneth Knettel, Sartell; Mildred Sands, Waseca; John (Marilyn) Knettel Jr., Rice; and her grandchildren, Tracy and Timothy Bruner, Thomas Knott Jr., Nicole Gielen, and Benjamin, Amanda, and Joshua Johnson, and 6 great-grandchildren.She is preceded in death by her brother and sister, Violet Vannelli and Fred Knettel; and her grand-daughter Shannon Knott.In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the PKD Foundation or the St. John’s University fund for Indigent Students (Annual Fund).
