Age: 73 January 07, 1938 – February 24, 2011 The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Kenneth Roering, age 73 of Holdingford, will be 11:00 AM Monday, February 28 at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Holdingford. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Kenny died Thursday at the St. Cloud Hospital. There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Sunday and again after 10:00 AM Monday at the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Holdingford. St. Mary’s parish prayers will be at 7 PM Sunday at the funeral home in Holdingford.Kenny was born January 7, 1938 in St. Cloud to John and Dina (Van Heel) Roering. He moved to Holdingford before he entered the U.S. Army. After his discharge, he returned to the Holdingford area and he met Marie “Ann” Aronson. The two were married on July 30, 1964 in St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Holdingford. Kenny farmed near Holdingford. He was a member of the St. Mary’s Catholic Church. Kenny enjoyed farming, bean bag tossing, snowmobiling, and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, dad and grandpa. He will be sadly missed by his family and friends.Kenny is survived by his wife, Ann, Holdingford; his children; Joan (Clint) Nelson, Foley; John Roering, Albany; Cindy (Wayne) Norberg, Royalton; Lisa (Randy) Gerads, Holdingford; Eugene Roering, Holdingford; Jim (Jen) Roering, Albany; Jenny (Jason) Zwilling, Sauk Rapids; Judy (Robby) Schiffler, Albany; Josh Roering, Holdingford; Becky (Jeremiah) Smith, Albany; and 18 grandchildren. Kenny is also survived by his brother and sisters, Lester (Caroline) Roering, St. Joseph; Alice Aronson, Rockville and Doris (Sylvester) Wasner, St. Stephen.Kenny is preceded in death by his parents, and his brothers and sisters, Eugene Roering, Lillian Held, Robert Roering and Sylvester Roering.
