Linda “Lin” Lee Douvier

Age: 52 December 31, 1961 – June 02, 2014 The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Linda “Lin” Douvier, age 52 of Rice will be at 11:00 AM June 6, 2014 at Our Lady of Mt. Carmel Catholic Church in Opole.  Father John Paul Knopik will officiate and burial will take place in the parish cemetery after mass. Linda passed away at her home on Monday.  There will be a visitation at the church on Friday after 10:00 AM until the time of the service. Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home of Holdingford.Linda was born December 31, 1961 in St. Paul, MN to Leo and Marilyn (Paggen) Douvier.  Linda graduated from the Holdingford High School in 1980.  She worked at Verso Paper from June 1982 through January 2012.  Linda loved her family and friends.  She enjoyed her annual trips to Tennessee, gardening, collecting antiques, cooking, baking, photography and running marathons.Linda is survived by her mother, Marilyn Douvier, St. Joseph; siblings, Jerry (Shannon) Douvier, Rice; Duane Douvier, Rice; and Sharon (Lynell) Sobania, Holdingford; nieces and nephews, special friend, Phyllis Boedigheimer.She is preceded in death by her father, Leo Douvier and feline friend, Little Kid.
