Age: 91 October 30, 1919 – September 12, 2011 The Mass of Christian burial, celebrating the life of Lorraine R. Ruprecht, age 91 of Avon, will be 11:00 AM Thursday, September 15, at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Anna.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Lorraine died Monday at the St. Benedict’s Senior Community in St. Cloud.  There will be a visitation from 4-9:00 PM Wednesday and again after 10:00 AM Thursday at the church in St. Anna.  Parish prayers will be at 7:30 PM Wednesday followed by Immaculate Conception Christian Mothers praying the Rosary at 8 PM.  Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home.Lorraine was born October 30, 1919 in St. Martin to Tony and Elizabeth (Holthaus) Thelen.  She married Carl Ruprecht on October 24, 1944 in St. Martin.  The couple farmed in Richmond before moving to their farm in Avon in 1955.  Lorraine was a homemaker working on the farm and raising her 12 children.  She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in St. Anna.Lorraine is survived by her children; Eugene (Judy) Ruprecht,, Cold Spring; Betty (James) Fischer, Albany; Charles “Fred” (Jean) Ruprecht, Avon; James (Joanna) Ruprecht, Avon; Rich (Yvonne) Ruprecht, Rockville; Sharon Breth, Avon; Michael (Kathy) Ruprecht, Rice; Roseann (Gary) Czeck, St. Cloud; Bob (Colleen) Ruprecht, Sauk Rapids; Thomas Ruprecht, Little Falls; John (Heidi) Ruprecht, Avon and David (Sue) Ruprecht, Holdingford.   Lorraine is also survived by her brothers and sisters, Ray (Bernie) Thelen, Farming; Madeline (Arnold) Wehsler, St. Martin; Ludwina (Ben) Kaiser, Richmond; Gertrude (Tom) Seivert, St. Cloud ; Arnold Thelen, Willmar; 41 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.Lorraine is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Carl Ruprecht in December of 1996 and her sister, Mary Hettwer.
