Luke Thomas Sobania

Age: 30 October 11, 1980 – September 17, 2011 The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Luke Thomas Sobania, age 30 of Holdingford, will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, September 21 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Opole.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  Luke died Saturday at his home in Holdingford.  There will be a visitation from 4-8:00 PM Tuesday and again after 10:00 AM Wednesday at the church in Opole. Our Lady of Mount Carmel parish prayers will be at 7:00 PM, Tuesday at the church in Opole. Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Holdingford.Luke was born October 11, 1980 in St. Cloud to Maynard and Sharon (Hellermann) Sobania.  He lived in Holdingford all of his life, graduating from Holdingford High School in 1999.  Luke has been a guard at the St. Cloud Correctional Facility for Men for over 8 years.  He was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.Luke is survived by his parents, Maynard and Sharon Sobania, Holdingford; his brother, Josh (Amber) Sobania, Holdingford; his grandmother, Rita Hellermann, Sauk Center, his niece,Cheyenne; and many aunts and uncles.Luke is preceded in death by his grandparents.
