Martha A. Kuklok

Age: 98 January 16, 1915 – January 29, 2013 Mass of Christian burial celebrating the life of Martha A Kuklok, age 98 of St. Wendel will be 11AM, Saturday, February 2nd 2013 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church in St. Wendel.  Father John Paul Knopik will officiate, and burial will take place in the parish cemetery following the service.  Martha died peacefully in her sleep Tuesday morning at St. Benedicts Nursing Home in St. Cloud.   There will be a visitation for Martha from 9:00 to 11:00 AM Saturday morning at the church prior to her service.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home of Holdingford.Martha was born January 16, 1915 to Peter and Mary (Opatz) Lampert in St. Wendel. She married Theodore Kuklok on Nov. 8th, 1932 at St. Columbkille in St. Wendel. She lived her entire life in St. Wendel. Martha not only was a mother and home-maker raising her seven children, but she worked on the farm where she was needed and also as a switchboard operator at St. Benedicts. Martha had a variety of hobbies as well including quilting, crocheting, and baking.  She was always known for her amazing angel food cakes.  Martha was a member of Christian Mothers, Ladies Auxiliary VFW 4847, Secular Franciscan Order, the St. Theresa Mission Group, and the St. Columbkille Catholic Church.She is survived by her children Marvin (Ann) Kuklok, Phillips, WI; Gladys (Gerald) Jurek, Wayzeta; Louise (Ronald) Hoffman, Sauk Rapids; James (Carol) Kuklok, St. Wendel; Mary Kaye (Thomas) Legatt, St. Cloud; Evelyn (Daniel) Scherping, Cedar; 42 grandchildren, 88 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild; her siblings George (Harriet) Lampert, Coon Rapids; Alvina (Claude) Korman, Gold Canyon, AZ.She is preceded in death by her parents Peter and Mary Lampert, her husband Theodore J. Kuklok who passed away in 1982, her daughter Julienne Dutton, her infant sons Richard and Clarence Kuklok, brother Eddy Lampert and her sister Adeline Brenny.
