Ramona J. Donabauer

Age: 76 February 15, 1936 – December 19, 2012 A memorial service celebrating the life of Ramona Joy Donabauer, age 76 of St. Cloud will be at 4PM Sunday, December 23rd at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud.  There will be a time for gathering from 3:30PM until the time of the service, and a time for sharing from 4:30-6PM following the service.  Ramona died at the St. Cloud hospital Wednesday afternoon after a long battle with cancer.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home of St. Cloud.Ramona was born February 15th, 1936 in Grand Rapids, MN to Roman and Mary (Sanford) Skaja.  She married Daniel Donabauer on June 11, 1955 in St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Waite Park.  Ramona not only worked as a home-maker and mother raising her four children, but she also worked at Fingerhut several years.  She was a past member of Holy Cross Catholic Church in Pearl Lake.Ramona is survived by her children Stephen (Jeanne) Donabauer, St. Cloud; Keith (Joyce) Donabauer, St. Cloud; Michelle “Shelly” (Frank) Krippner, Kimball; Mary (Rollie) Werner, Annandale; her twelve grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren; and her siblings Kathleen (Rick) Emslander, Sartell; Hugh (Diane) Skaja, St. Cloud.She is preceded in death by her husband Daniel Donabauer who passed on September 14th 2009, and her sister Virginia Liestman.
