Rawland (Ronnie) F. Hagstrom

Age: 77 February 29, 1932 – January 17, 2010 RAWLAND (RONNIE) HAGSTROM February 29, 1932 – January 17, 2009Services celebrating the life of Rawland (Ronnie) F. Hagstrom, age 77 of Upsala will be 2:00 PM, Saturday, January 23, at Mt Olive Lutheran Church in Upsala.  Rawland died Sunday at St Otto’s Care Center in Little Falls.  There will be a visitation one hour prior the service on Saturday at the church.  Funeral arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home of UpsalaRawland was born February 29, 1932 in Upsala to Andrew and Johanna (Ehrlichmann) Hagstrom.  He spent his childhood in Upsala until he graduated in 1950.  After graduation, he went to Duluth and worked on the iron ore boats for three years.  After his time in Duluth, Rawland went to school in Minneapolis to become a brick layer.  After his schooling, he married Joan (Donat) on January 14, 1956.  Rawland worked as a bricklayer for Axel H. Ohman for 35 years before retiring in 1991 when he moved back to Upsala.  Rawland loved woodworking, fishing, hunting, taking care of the yard, gardening and spending quality time with his family.Rawland is survived by his children Tim (Marcy) Hagstrom, Hampton; Scott (Catherine) Hagstrom, Hastings; and Tami (Jeff) Ahlgren, Lakeville.  He is also survived by his sister Gayle Bialke and seven grandchildren Rick, Rylee, Cheyenne, Samantha, Jason, Jeremy, and Travis.
