Age: 78 May 03, 1931 – January 19, 2010 RAYMOND C. YOUNG May 3, 1931  –  January 19, 2010  The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Raymond C. Young, age 78 of Waite Park, formerly of Avon, will be 11:00 AM Friday, January 22 at St. Hedwigs Catholic Church in Holdingford.  Burial will be in the Arban Cemetery.  Ray died Tuesday, surrounded by his family, at the Sterling Park Health Care Center in Waite Park.  Friends may gather from 4-9:00 PM Thursday and after 10:00 AM Friday at the Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home in Holdingford.  St. Hedwigs parish prayers will be at 7:00 PM Thursday at the funeral home in Holdingford.   Ray was born May 3, 1931 on his family farm where he lived the rest of his life.  He married Constance Jarnot on September 9, 1957 in Holdingford.  He farmed on his home place until he moved into the nursing home.  He was a member of St. Hedwigs Catholic Church in Holdingford   Ray is survived by his wife, Connie, Waite Park; daughters, Bonnie (John) Wenker, Waite Park; Brenda (Gary) Korneck, St. Cloud;  Becky (Kyle) Lawin, Holdingford; Barb (Steve) Dobis, Sartell; Beth (Andy) Fabbrini, Somerset, WI.  He is also survived by his sister, Verna Evans, North Pole Alaska and his grandchildren; Nicole Schroden (Bonnie); Aaron Korneck (Brenda); Jenna and Kaley Lawin (Becky); Brooklynn and Madison Dobis (Barb). Ray is preceded in death by his parents and his son, Bryan Young.   Memorials are preferred to the Alzheimer’s Association and the Holdingford FFA (P.O. Box 250, Holdingford, MN  56340).  The family would like to send a special Thank You to the staff of the Heartland Hospice and the staff of the Sterling Park Health Care Center.
