Age: 68 August 16, 1947 – February 28, 2016 Services celebrating the life of Sheila A. Eiden, age 68 of Northfield, will be 11:00 AM, Thursday, March 3 at All Saints, St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Holdingford.  Sheila died Sunday at the Three Links Hospice Home in Northfield.  Burial will be in the parish cemetery.  There will be a visitation after 10:00 AM Thursday at the church in Holdingford.  Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes. Sheila was born August 16, 1947 in St. Cloud. She was the 12th of 13 children born to Walter and Christina (Scheibel) Eiden.  She was the first of the 13 to be born at a hospital.  She grew up on the family farm west of Holdingford.  Sheila attended Holdingford public schools and St. Cloud State University.  She taught school in Northfield Elementary most of her teaching career.  She always knew she wanted to be a teacher.  Her hobbies included sewing, reading, knitting, bird watching and traveling.  She was a member of St. Dominic’s Catholic Church in Northfield. Sheila is survived by her brothers and sisters, John (Annette) Eiden, New Hope; Leo Eiden, New Hope; George (Rosie) Eiden, Holdingford; Glenn (Ardith) Eiden, Golden Valley; Warren (Bernice) Eiden; Holdingford;  Mona Cambell, Westland, MI; Ellen (Ken) Loegering, New Brighton; Morjorie (Richard) Evans, Hopkins; and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, her sisters, Kathleen Eiden, Esther Wilson, Lois Zanter and one brother, Alphonse Eiden.
