Sonja L. Miller

Age: 72 January 11, 1938 – November 08, 2010 Funeral Services for Sonja L. Miller, age 72 of Sartell will be Monday, November 15, 2010 at 11:00 AM at First United Methodist Church in St. Cloud.  Pastor William Meier will officiate, and burial will take place at the Minnesota State Veterans Cemetery following the service.  Sonja died peacefully Monday evening at Legends Heritage Place Memory Center in Sartell.  Friends may call from 4-8 PM on Sunday, November 14, 2010 at the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud and again after 10 AM Monday morning at the church.  Arrangements are being made with the Miller-Carlin Funeral Home in St. Cloud.Sonja was born January 11, 1938 in Goteborg, Sweden to Charles and Arvilla (Cox) Embom.  She moved from Sweden to North Dakota and eventually settled in the Central Minnesota area.  Sonja married Raymond H. Miller on April 5, 1956 in Waite Park.  Besides being a loving mother and home maker, Sonja worked for Sterling Park Nursing Home and Dayton’s Department Store.  She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in St. CloudSonja is survived by her children, Robert Raymond Miller, Deercreek; and Ronald Allen (Pauline) Miller, Sartell; her grand-daughters, Jennifer and Stephanie Miller; and her sisters and brother, Sandy Matthys, Sacramento, CA; Barb Jeno, Northfield; Anna Mae Hotakainen, Faribault; and Duane (Sue) Enbom, Young America.She is preceded in death by her parents Arvilla and Charles Enbom, her husband Raymond Miller who passed away in 2008, and her brother Clark Enbom.
