


The Mass of Christian Burial, celebrating the life of Richard R. Fichtinger, age 82 of New Munich, will be 11:00 AM, Saturday, April 11 at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in New Munich. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Richard died Thursday at the Sterling Park Health Care Center. Friends may gather after 10:00 AM Saturday at the church in New Munich. Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin Funeral Homes, Albany.
Richard was born January 30, 1933 in New Munich to Nicholaus and Anna (Mayers) Fichtinger. He spent all of his life in the New Munich area and farmed there. He is a member of the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, New Munich
Richard is survived by his sister, Lucille (Art) Koopmeiners, St. Cloud and his nieces and nephews; Donna (Ross) Landwehr, Ken(Theresa) Koopmeiners, Bob (Kim) Koopmeiners and Dale (Judy)Koopmeiners. He is also survived by his great nieces and nephews; Sara Shegrud, Jason Landwehr, Eric Landwehr, Brandon Landwehr, Emily Keufler, Ben Koopmeiners, Trevor Koopmeiners, Matt Koopmeiners and Mitchell Koopmeiners. His great-great nieces and nephews; Colton Shegrud; Elizabeth Landwehr, Courtney Landwehr, Brooklyn Landwehr, Ella Keufler, Mckenna Keufler, Jordon Koopmeiners, Isabelle Landwehr and Bently Landwehr.
Richard is preceded in death by his parents.
