Church, Opole. Burial will be in the parish cemetery. Virginia died peacefully at her home
Saturday morning. Friends may call from 4-8 PM Monday at Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral
Home, Holdingford & after 9:30 AM Tuesday at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church,
Opole. Parish prayers will be 5 PM followed by Our Lady of Mount Carmel Christian Mothers
praying a rosary at 6:30 PM Monday at Miller-Carlin-Brenny Funeral Home, Holdingford. Virginia was born to Lucas & Helen (Sobania) Czech. She married Joseph Harold Johnson of
the Clarissa area on June 6, 1944 in Denver, CO. They lived in Omaha, NE most of their married
life before moving back to Holdingford. Virginia was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel
Christian Mothers and Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church. Virginia is survived by her daughter, Pat Brecht, Holdingford; granddaughters, Nicole (Mike)
Sopkin, Dallas / Fort Worth, TX; Sara (Brian) Brady, Sedona, AZ; great-granddaughter, Carissa
Spady, Dallas / Fort Worth, TX & 5 nieces & 1 nephew. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Joseph in 1994, & siblings, Florence
Kuklock, Benedict Czech, Theodore Czech, Hubert Czech, Angeline Falck, Alvina Beckman, &
Rita Mergenthaler & 4 nephews, including Robert “Bobby” Zeck.

Although I didn’t know your Mom really well, nevertheless, it’s never easy to lose a parent. You have my sympathies.
We are sorry to hear about Virginia. She was a swetheart. I remember one day she brought my 2 boys some coloring books and cryaons just for no reason Maybe just to pop in and meet us. Thinking of your family.
