Doug … You were my sales partner for less than 2 years at Regent, but your legacy will last a lifetime with me! You were a mentor, a friend and a joy to work with on each and every day! Fire up that Harley in Heaven, my friend. You will be thought of and missed daily.

Doug was a gifted and charismatic man. His presence always led to a good conversation, a story or two and surely a few laughs. We’re grateful for the time the family got to spend with you at the cabin this past summer. Our thoughts are with you Joy, as well as to all who knew Doug.
May the comfort of God help you during this difficult time. I remember Doug as the older brother of my girlfriend Dawn. He was always very friendly, upbeat and outgoing.
Peace, Prayers and blessings be with you.
Sure going to miss seeing Doug at the cribbage tournaments. His good sense of humor made it a pleasure to be with him. God bless you Doug.
Our thoughts and prayers are with the Munneke family as you celebrate the great life of Doug. He touched the lives of many people and his free-giving spirit will never be forgotten.

Doug hired me in my first full-time announcing position back in 1988 at KSUM/KFMC radio in Fairmont, MN. Doug was always such a kind, fair, and fun-loving man. I had the privledge to visit with Doug and Joy back in September when they stopped in Fairmont on their way back from their Michigan Harley trip. It was wonderful to walk down memory lane with the two of them. Joy, my heart goes out to you. Know that you’re in our thoughts and prayers at Woodward Broadcasting.
Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time.
Doug was a student of mine back in Clara City, we remember him babysitting our children on occasion. He was a special individual to us and we will miss him.
It’s been many, many years……..and at about age 4 or 5, Doug was one of my first friends and the memories bring a smile.
I pray for peace, comfort and joy for the journey ahead.
Hope in God !
Thanks for being my friend Doug! I will miss you! Enjoy the time with your Dad. I will think of you often. May God bless Joy, Alvina, Dwight, Dawn, and the rest of your family.
deepest sympathy Our prayers and thoughts are with you.
I will really miss my cribbage buddy and the many stories about the “Doug Monkey” at the tournaments. One of the nicest guy you’ll ever want to meet but one of the fiercest competitors on the boards. God bless you my friend. Joy, our thoughts and prayers go out to you and your loved ones.
