A Mass of Christian Burial celebrating the life of Kenneth “Ken” Maciejewski, age 73 of Avon
will be 11 AM Monday, October 18, 2010 at St. Columbkille Catholic Church, St. Wendel. Ken
died Thursday at his home surrounded by his family after a courageous battle with cancer. Burial
will be in the parish cemetery. A Visitation will be held from 4-8 PM Sunday at the Miller-Carlin-
Brenny Funeral Home in Albany. Arrangements are being made by the Miller-Carlin-Brenny
Funeral Home in Albany.Ken was born in Brockway Twsp. to John & Florence (Keiffer) Maciejewski. He married Lois
Barlage on January 24, 1970 in St. John Cantius Catholic Church, St.Cloud. Ken was a heavy
equipment operator for over 25 years. He lived in the Avon area all of his life. He was a member
of the International Operator Union & St. Columbkille Catholic Church.Ken is survived by his wife, Lois, Avon; children, Becky (Peter) Gerads, Albany; Tammie (Adam)
Meyer, Becker; Laura Halseth, Plymouth; Mary Maciejewski (Rick Blonigen), West Des Moines,
IA; Peter, Avon; 15 grandchildren, his mother, Florence, Albany; siblings, Elmer (Jenny), Avon;
John, Jr., Avon; Sister Mary Rebecca, Sauk Rapids; David, Avon; Roger (Lisa), Freeport; &
Richard C., Avon.He was preceded in death by his father.
